Wales is a rural country, producing the very best quality food & drink, so tickle your taste buds with a tour of the best North Wales’ has to offer.

Who doesn’t like to eat and drink great quality food and drink.  With organic food and drink production high on our producers’ lists since the 1980s in the UK, we bring you the very best quality here in Wales.

We have our own whisky in Wales too!  Penderyn has been distilled in South Wales for years and was re-opened by Prince Charles in the early 2000s and a new Penderyn Distillery recently opened in North Wales in Llandudno Victorian seaside resort. There are tours, tastings and a shop to take home your favourite tipple – mine is their chocolate orange gin by the way!

Also in North Wales, for the first time in over 100 years, Aber Falls Whisky – a new brand has been maturing away merrily for its statutory 3 years and 1 day before it can be sold as whisky and is now on sale since 2021.  Made from the Aber Falls waterfall nearby it has its own unique taste. They produce some wonderful gins and liqueurs and their quality Visitor Centre, shop and cafe are open for a locally sourced tea, Welsh cake or lunch at any time, including after your tour and tasting. 

We make wonderful yoghurts such as Llaeth y Llan; cheeses like Snowdonia and Caerphilly. Welsh Cakes (a type of flattened scone), laver bread (seaweed not bread), bara brith (fruit bread) and much more.  There are dozens of micro breweries making local beers too such as the wonderfully named Purple Moose Brewery in North Wales.
