We are famously “a nation of gardeners” so discover some of the very best Wales has to offer.
You don’t have to be a gardener to enjoy the stunning displays we can offer you in Wales at all times of the year. Some are gardens in their own right and some are part of a stately home, so giving you the opportunity to visit both the house and garden in one tour.
We start with my favourite garden in Wales – Bodnant Garden. There’s over 80 acres for you to explore including a rose scented garden in the summer, wonderful multi-coloured azalea and rhododendron shrubs in the spring and perhaps THE most famous of them all, the Laburnum Arch – a true spectacle which draws people from far and wide in late May or early June (see my picture above taken early in the morning).
Our other wonderful garden is Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens on the Island of Anglesey. Lovingly restored since the mid 1990s and nestled above the fast flowing Menai Strait which divides Anglesey from mainland Wales.
For those who prefer to explore a stately home with a garden, there’s Brynkinalt, Plas Newydd and Erddig and Gwydir Castle Tudor garden and many more.
